The bandwagoners here, accusing me of "negativity" and being "wannabee" strictly for expressing my experiences and emotions NOT EVEN ABOUT THEM SPECIFICALLY, must obviously believe I am speaking to them individually.
That's very revealing. Must mean I hit home and all their little defenses come about, and all rally around each other to mask their true inexperiences and incapabilities.
Why not take the time and actually WORK on your "music" so circumvent someone like me from even ELUDING to you? Start with actually shutting the Hell up and listening to records. Oh. Never done that? Well, there's your problem right there. You don't listen. Then, how do you know what and where to play? Lol!

These kids like Drumminman complete miss the point of music! This guy actually BRISTLES at the idea of learning something! Sorry, dude. Greatness is an arbitrary, isn't it? There is proficiency which I am very proficient on my instrument. My own music is about proficiency but of sharing, allowing other voices to shine via professional accompanyment. Blues, Gospel, jazz and R&B. It's still state of the art. If you don't know none of that, you don't know squat and thus could learn nothing from me.

The Roots? With What's his name Legend? They're OK,I guess. I liked one thing they did on WMNF but not enough for me to pay money to see 'em. They don't get me off like Donna the Buffalo or Diana Krull or Mike Stern BTW, I guarantee you don't work with the Roots. But what about the Roots appeals to you? Care to share? Probably not 'cause you don't know compared to what. Kids... Sheesh Hey gunther! The Roots are performing on 3/19 at Universal Studios. Should be a kickass time. Hope to see you out there!

Lol! No, I don't work with The Roots. I just think they kick ass. All the spring, summer and fall concerts are free for seasons pass holders, but I'd pay to see them if I had to... I figured since you keep making bitter, negative posts I'd counter them by plugging a great group of rap/hip-hop artists. Let me know if you ever make it out there - I'd love to sit in Finnegan's and have a Guinness with the only true "pro" in the Tampa Bay area.

Let me know when Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings come to town. I've heard the Roots with what's his name Legend. Not impressed. Give me the above or Gil Scott Heron anyday of the year. And I am an actual professional. I don't get the resentment of such. Must be because of something on TV for you people, huh? I think you're some groupie. That's OK. I've had lots of groupies over many years. They get boring after a while. Not very intellectually stimulating ... like yourself.... Lol! No, I don't work with The Roots. I just think they kick ass.
