Guitar Jack Help?

A few minutes ago, I went to plug my guitar cable into my guitar, and the other end into my amp. Some type of piece broke on the guitar and now I can't plug the cable into my guitar. The cord goes into the hole, but nothing is holding it in there so it's not clicking. Please tell me any solution to overcome this problem.

Hi there, sorry for the late reply. The problem you're having is the connection clip in your jack is broken. You'll need to get a new jack and have it re installed. Here is a picture of what I'm talking about. I hope this helps.
